Healthy Snacks

Sometimes healthy snacks are hard to come by. Processed foods contain a lot of unhealthy preservatives that are added to keep foods fresh longer. Making homemade applesauce is quick and easy, and allows you to make enough for a week. You can add a sweetener of your choice, but personally, I leave it au natural with a little apple pie spice.  I've included a recipe on the "Recipes" page of the blog. If you're looking for something with protein, try adding cottage cheese to the applesauce.
